SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the computer equipment. Video data transmission device comprises a processing unit for obtaining video transmission data by applying a given optoelectrical transfer function to input video data and a transmission unit for transmitting video transmission data together with interval information indicating an interval of brightness levels, in which brightness conversion is allowed, and an interval of brightness levels, in which brightness conversion is not allowed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of video playback quality due to that output video data are obtained by performing brightness conversion processing based on interval information.
