FIELD: pumps.

SUBSTANCE: automatic unit for maintaining pressure and filling includes a pump module containing two to four pumps, a suction line of each pump is provided with a shut-off valve, on the pressure line - a check valve and shutoff valve, suction lines and pressure lines of pumps are combined into suction and pressure headers, as well as bypass line for draining part of water from system into pressureless expansion tank at pressure increase, consisting of shutoff ball valve, filter, manual balancing valves and electromagnetic valves, and for replenishment of pressureless expansion tank there is a branch with a water meter, a manual balancing valve and a solenoid valve, a make-up line comprising a three-way valve, assembly of shutoff-control valve consisting of shutoff-control valve and (or) shut-off valve, nozzle for pressure gauge and pressure sensor, pressure-free expansion tank equipped with device for measuring amount of water and a membrane, a control cabinet containing a controller, starters, engine circuit breakers. In the pressure maintenance mode, the three-way tap of the make-up line is installed in the position connecting the pressure-free expansion tank with the suction header of the pump module, and the shutoff-control valve is opened completely, and if the pressure in the system falls below the standard, then the pump module is switched on and water from the pressure-free expansion tank enters the system, and if water pressure in the system increases above the installed value, then part of the water from the system is drained into the pressureless expansion tank through the bypass line, and in the system filling mode the three-way valve is installed in the position connecting the water source to the suction header of the pump module, wherein non-pressure expansion tank is disconnected from water source and suction header of pump module, shutoff-control valve when opening filling mode is opened by 2–3%, then, two pumps of the pump module are switched on, then the controller controls the control valve in order to maintain a constant pressure drop between the pressure and suction manifolds of the pump module to ensure operation of the pumps of the pump module within the operating characteristics of the pumps, at which all elements of pumps operate without overloads, and in emergency mode of make-up three-way valve is installed in position connecting water source with suction header of pump module, wherein pressureless expansion tank is disconnected from water source and suction header of pump module, with pressure drop in system, according to the signal of the pressure relay sensor in the system, a shutoff-control valve is opened and the pump is switched on, when pressure in the system increases, according to the signal of the pressure sensor in the system, the pump module is switched off, shutoff-control valve is closed, at that same pumps of the pump module are used to fill the system and maintain pressure.

EFFECT: invention is used as a make-up and filling system of heat supply, heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
