FIELD: laminated products or materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of forming laminar metal-composite composites and can be used in making articles and structures of high strength, particularly in shipbuilding in making submarine hulls. Submersible cylindrical body is formed from glass material with double-sided metal lining, wherein outer lining is made of metals, coefficient of temperature expansion (CTE) of which exceeds CTE of glass material, and internal - metals with CTE less than or equal to CTE glass material, wherein the detachable mold with the prefabricated outer lining is installed in a centrifuge, while the working centrifuge is being fed into the melt of the glass material and forming its uniform layer on the inner side of the outer metal lining. After lowering temperature of formed two-layer composite to temperature providing diffusion welding of glass with metal lining, inner metal lining of required thickness is formed from metal melt fed by means of centrifuge. Formed three-layer composite is annealed at glass transition temperature and, after lowering its temperature to ambient temperature, is extracted from mold.
EFFECT: technical result is high strength and shock resistance of manufactured composite cylindrical housing of underwater vehicle due to reduced surface microcracks of glass layer as a result of mechanical action of metal coating during cooling.
