FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention consists in that the underwater vehicle solid hull cylindrical enclosure is made from a glass layer lined with a metal coating representing an outer, an inner and an end face plating with coefficient of thermal expansion exceeding that of glass. The outer and the end face metal plating are placed in a split form to be placed into a centrifuge. The said centrifuge is cut in and melt of glass mass is fed into the inner space of the outer metal plating. The centrifuge helps form the required thickness of a glass layer onto the inner surface of the outer metal plating. The glass layer temperature is decreased to the temperature allowing the layer diffusion welding with the metal outer plating. Now, the metal melt is fed onto the glass layer and use the said centrifuge to form the required thickness of the inner metal plating. The cylindrical enclosure temperature is reduced to the temperature of glass layer vitrification temperature, the centrifuge is cut out, the said cylindrical enclosure is tempered till a complete strain relaxation and glass layer stabilisation. The split form temperature is reduced to ambient temperature, and the enclosure is withdrawn from the form.
EFFECT: reliable junction of plating, simpler manufacture and better manufacturability.
