FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. To correct myopic astigmatism by intrastromal removal of the lentil, taking into account cyclotorsia, patient eyeballs are photorecorded on the diagnostic module of the navigation system "Verion" while patient is in the sitting position. After that, photographs of the eyeballs are transmitted over the network to the operating module of the navigation system "Verion". That is followed by photorecording of eyeballs on an operating module in the supine position. Then the system "Verion" automatically compares the photographs and outputs the value of cyclotorsia. Further, the surgeon corrects the axis of astigmatism taking into account cyclotorsia and performs operation on a standard protocol on a femtoscopic laser system "Visumax".

EFFECT: method provides safe postoperative correction of myopic astigmatism by ReLEx SMILE technique taking into account cyclotorsia due to the fact that it does not involve contact glass rotation that eliminates risk of vacuum loss.
