FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment. Method of detecting deviation in an inverter device is characterized by that: step (S1) reading temperature (tin1) of the first inverter, temperature (tin2) of the second inverter and cooling water temperature (tw); step (S3) determining the presence of deviation in the first inverter device (10) of the previous cascade based on the first temperature difference (Δt1) between temperature (tin1) of first inverter and cooling water temperature (tw); and step (S6) for determining deviation in second inverter device (20) in a subsequent stage based on second temperature difference (Δt2) between temperature (tin2) of second inverter and incremental temperature (twa), obtained by conversion of loss component of first inverter device (10) to temperature (additional value Tad), which is added to temperature (tw) of cooling water.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of accuracy of detection of deviation of temperature of power module of the next cascade without addition of sensor for detection of temperature of cooling fluid medium.
