SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of vehicles wheel tire assembly. Technical result is achieved by a method for assembly of tires for vehicles wheels, which includes placing semi-finished product (12) containing cords parallel to each other, cutting semi-finished product (12) along cutting line (T) parallel to cords length, to produce strip-shaped section (13), winding of strip-shaped section (13) in direction along circumference on forming drum (D). Cutting operation includes placing semi-finished product (12) under blade (21), providing support for semi-finished product (12) by means of gripping action on upper surface (12a) of semi-finished product (12), translational movement of knife (21) along cutting line (T) through semi-finished product (12). Semi-finished product (12) is placed under knife (21) while ensuring the lower surface of semi-finished product (12) adherence to movable plate (22) located in the working position. Movable plate (22) is moved from semi-finished product (12) after initiation of gripping action and before actuation of knife (21) along cutting line (T) by means of translation of movable plate (22) from working position, in which it is coplanar with respect to plane (18) of forward movement, into initial position, in which it is located below plane (18) of forward movement.
EFFECT: technical result is simple design of device, higher operational flexibility and accuracy of processing semi-finished product.
