FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: method for assembly of tyres designed for wheels of transport means, when a frame structure is installed in the main drum, and that structure contains at least one layer of frame, which is in contact with circular structures for fixing, located at a distance from each other in axial direction; breaker structure containing at least one layer of breaker is installed in the auxiliary drum, which is mounted coaxially with the main drum; breaker structure is gripped from the auxiliary drum for its shift into position, where it is coaxially aligned with frame structure; a tread band is placed on the breaker structure. Tread band placement is done by means of winding of at least one continuous strip-like element made of elastomer material in the form of adjacent circular peripheral coils around breaker structure. Placement of tread band is done before the breaker structure is removed from the auxiliary drum and after forming of breaker structure, and before the continuous strip-like element is wound, the auxiliary drum is moved from the vertical plane, where main drum rotation axis is located, to the delivery element, which is delivered by the strip-like element, starting from the location, where the auxiliary drum interacts with device for breaker structure installation; and additionally the auxiliary drum is shifted from the delivery element for its return to coaxial location in relation to the main drum after completion of tread band installation. Device for method implementation contains the main and auxiliary drum, device for installation of breaker layers, performing unit.

EFFECT: invention has high capacity.
