FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used for measurement of main thermophysical parameters of liquid in tank, namely liquid level and temperature distribution over tank height in conditions of continuous technological processes. Disclosed solution includes distribution of thermocouples along the tank height, measurement of thermoEMF of such thermocouples. In contrast to the prototype, thermocouples are selected as thermocouples, hot junctions of which are made with inclusion of third conductors made from the same metal, recording EMF between the third conductors forming concentration elements when the liquid is placed in the measured liquid. Thermal electromotive force is used to determine liquid temperature at points of their location, and upon presence of EMF between third conductors liquid level is determined.
EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the disclosed method, which involve simultaneous determination of the liquid level and temperature profile over the height of the tank.
