FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the measurement of temperatures, in particular, measurement of the cutting temperature during turning. Cutting processes study involves the measurement and recording of various phenomena occurring in the technological system. Proposed is a device for the tool temperature measuring by a natural thermocouple, which contains the processed workpiece, an isolated from the machine support cutter, extension thermocouple wire connecting the cutter cutting part to the measuring device, another extension thermocouple wire connecting the measuring device to the processed workpiece through a current collector made in the form of a stationary contact assembly consisting of two interlocking elements, one of which is the machine support electrically conductive part, and the second one is made in the form of an extension thermocouple wire connected to the measuring device, the processed workpiece is fixed in the lathe chuck without isolating elements.
EFFECT: improving the cutter temperature measurement accuracy by a natural thermocouple.
