FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to chemistry of lanthanide complexes of porphyrins, in particular, to a method of producing a dipotassium salt of an ytterbium complex of 2,4-di(α-methoxyethyl)deuteroporphyrin IX of acetylacetonate. Method comprises reacting a disodium salt of 2,4-di(α-methoxyethyl)deuteroporphyrin IX with ytterbium acetylacetonate in 1,2,4-trichlorobenzene, recovering the obtained ytterbium complex of 2,4-di(α-methoxyethyl)deuteroporphyrin IX of acetylacetonate from the reaction mass by precipitation with an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, followed by conversion of the complex to a dipotassium salt and chromatographic purification thereof.
EFFECT: present invention allows to increase technical and economic indices of the process and output of the end product.
