FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of making a stack of a stringer and a panel, as well as to a method of making a composite component from a stack of stringer and panel. Proposed method comprises steps of providing preforms of stringer, preform of panel and filler of mold. Mold is adapted to define inner surface of stringer. Method additionally includes stages of the stringer preform assembly, so as to ensure contact with the mold, placement of the filler material between the mold surface and the stringer preform, and bringing the reinforcing material into contact with the panel preform. Mold shape is configured to control placement of filler and/or filler shape and/or filler volume.
EFFECT: invention provides improved physical and mechanical properties.
