FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: raw material is preliminarily prepared in sizes sufficient for ingress into holes of the grinder plate, and is soaked in active mode at cutting blade rotation. Water level in the reactor promotes formation of a funnel under action of a centrifugal force field, in which a rarefaction is generated, which is transformed inside the grinder of the grinder into the head, which intensifies the raw material disintegration. Pulp under pressure is supplied to separator, where fibre is separated by means of grid with openings from unfertilized raw material, which is returned to reactor for re-grinding. Pulp with fibres of the required size is dehydrated and transported on the belt of the mesh conveyor outside the reactor. Water is added to the reactor at operation of the level sensor.

EFFECT: method and device are designed to produce fibrous mass from fibre-containing raw material by soaking and grinding without heating and steaming in a reactor filled with water.
