FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: device for cleaning with activated carbon, containing adsorption column with activated carbon. Adsorption column with activated carbon contains bottom part with activated carbon layer, upper part with activated carbon layer and transition area located between these two parts. Adsorption column with activated carbon also comprises loading hopper located above adsorption column or at its tops, a flue gas inlet opening located in the lower part of the adsorption column, and a flue gas outlet opening located in the upper part of the adsorption column, where outlet end for furnace gases of bottom part with layer of activated carbon is connected to inlet end for furnace gases of upper part with layer of activated carbon by means of channel for furnace gases. Bottom part with activated carbon layer has 2–7 chambers with activated carbon, separated and formed by porous separator plates, and the activated carbon chambers located in the bottom part, successively increase in the thickness along the flue gases flow direction. Upper part with activated carbon layer has 2–7 chambers with activated carbon, separated and formed by porous separator plates, and the activated carbon chambers located in the upper part, successively increase in the thickness along the flue gases flow direction.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of flue gas cleaning.
