FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for flue gas desulphurisation and denitration device and a method for flue gas desulphurisation and denitration using activated carbon. Device includes an adsorption column of the first stage and a desorber of activated carbon. Discharge chamber of the adsorption column of the first stage is divided into an upper discharge chamber and a lower discharge chamber. Alternatively, the device includes an adsorption column of the first stage, an adsorption column of the second stage and a desorber of activated carbon, that are connected in series. Discharge chamber of the adsorption column of the first stage is divided into an upper discharge chamber, an average discharge chamber and a lower discharge chamber. Method of flue gas desulphurisation and denitration in which the said device is used includes the stage of desulphurisation and denitration and the stage of desorption of activated carbon.

EFFECT: invention provides an increase in the efficiency of flue gas cleaning due to the passage of gas through several multi-tiered layers of activated carbon.
