FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for processing of channels by electrochemical grinding or polishing. Method involves movement of electrode tool along inner surface of channel, along its axis at connection of part to anode, and electrode-tool to cathode. Electrode-tool is represented by a container made of dielectric material filled with electroconductive granules equipped with electrodes that contact them and providing contact of electroconductive granules between each other and with processed section of inner surface of the part channel. Before processing, said container is introduced into the treated channel, providing contact of electroconductive granules between each other and with the processed surface of the channel, as well as with electrodes of the container. Electroconductive granules are connected through electrodes to the cathode, and the part – to the anode, and the process of successive treatment of the internal surface of the channel is performed, by moving the electrode-tool along the channel surface subject to treatment till the required roughness of the surface is obtained.

EFFECT: invention improves quality and uniformity of processing of metal channel inner surfaces.
