FIELD: satisfaction of vital human requirements.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of meeting human vital needs, in particular to orthopaedic mattresses, and is intended for comfortable placement of user on it when lying in longitudinal direction. Orthopaedic mattress represents a finished product in the form of a single part, is based on horizontally oriented straight parallelepiped and has an upper support surface, a lower support surface and side surfaces, two on each side, one on side of head and one on foot side. Upper support surface made at an angle to the slope towards the head has a projection in the lower part of the short lateral surface on the side of the legs.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at provision of optimal position of user's body during rehabilitation of lower extremities.
