FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to means of meeting human vital needs, in particular to soft mattresses, as a general household purpose, and to agents of passive therapy for treatment and prevention of pathology of locomotor system, curvature and deformation of spinal column, removal of excessive tonus and fatigue of muscles, as well as prevention of decubitus and edema in patients. Disclosed is an anatomical mattress for resting and relieving stress from human muscles. Mattress includes raised working surface, at that, working surface of mattress is assembled as set of rectangular parallelepipeds made of elastic-elastic material of different density and glued to each other in crosswise rows. Rectangular parallelepipeds with identical material density are staggered along the longitudinal axis of the mattress.
EFFECT: invention provides higher effectiveness of relieving muscle tension.
