FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to dentistry and discloses use of the composition for mineralization of the tooth surface, particularly tooth enamel, a method of mineralizing the surface or subsurface of the tooth, as well as a kit for treating or preventing one or more of the forms of dental caries, fluorosis and tooth erosion. Method involves contacting surface or subsurface tooth with a compound which is capable of increasing the pH of the pH solution more than or equal to 7 or maintaining the pH of the solution at pH greater than or equal to 7, and a mineralizing agent, where the compound which is capable of increasing or maintaining the pH of the solution is brought into contact with the surface or subsurface of the tooth after the mineralising agent, and the mineralizing agent is stabilized amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) and/or amorphous calcium fluoride-phosphate (ACFP).
EFFECT: group of inventions can be used for mineralization of hypomineralized lesions, such as tooth caries, dental corrosion and fluorosis.
