SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanics and is a device (device) for studying mechanical interactions of physical bodies, namely, partially elastic shock interactions in a system of three bodies. The device consists of a bogie resting on a horizontal surface - a base - and two upper stages of equal mass, synchronously moving along smooth transitions formed by walls vertically fixed on the bogie, having symmetrically located curved sections that provide a rotation of the upper stages by 90° and passing into rectilinear sections , while the upper stages are equipped with equal parameters radio-controlled electric motors with a drive to the wheels, resting on the bogie, and with the help of support rollers resting on the inner surfaces of the walls of smooth transitions, while the result of the exchange of impulses between the bogie and the upper stages is estimated by the displacement of the bogie using a measuring scales.
EFFECT: opportunity to study the mechanism of impulse imbalance formation in case of partially elastic shock interactions in a system of three physical bodies.
