SUBSTANCE: cellulose free absorbing cores and methods for their manufacture are described. Method of forming absorbent core can include movement of forming surface in machine direction, creation of pressure drop on forming surface, moving the base bearing sheet on the forming surface in the machine direction, applying the first binding substance on the base bearing sheet and applying a first amount of granular material on the first binding substance at a first width in a direction transverse to the machine one. Method may also include applying a matrix of material on a first amount of granular material on a second width in a direction across the machine, wherein the material matrix comprises a second amount of granular material and a second binding substance, wherein the second width in the direction transverse to the machine one is less than the first width in the direction transverse to the machine one, at that, second amount of granular material and binder are premixed prior to application on first quantity of granular material.

EFFECT: absorbing cores and methods for its formation are proposed.
