SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the internal combustion engines. Disclosed is method for engine. In response to accelerator pedal first release occurring at engine control. At that, engine with load is lower than threshold value of engine load with one or several disconnected cylinders and with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR). Exhaust gas recirculation is performed according to increased fixed ratio relative to inlet air flow. There is delayed reactivation of disconnected cylinders till the moment of EGR reduction from increased fixed ratio to low fixed ratio relative to inlet air flow. Disclosed are methods (versions) for engine.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of instability of ignition and misfiring.
