FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses methods and systems for coordinating the use of water with ignition control based on their effect on the ratio of engine torque. Water is injected based on torque ratio at current ignition torque in comparison with torques ratio at detonation boundary conditions to improve water injection effect on engine characteristics. Water injection into collector and direct water injection is coordinated on the basis of humidity in inlet manifold.
EFFECT: invention can be used in engine building.
