SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to obstetrics and gynecology, and can be used to predict the risk of postpartum endometritis. Method involves measuring anthropometric values. In the examined woman in gestation to 9–10 weeks using anthropometric indicators, calculating fat mass and muscular body weight, method includes determining a somatotype by R.N. Dorokhov method, finding out a history of endometritis after childbirth or abortions, according to the obtained data, a percentage probability of developing postpartum endometritis in a specific patient is calculated, result is 60 to 100 % predicting a high risk of postpartum endometritis.

EFFECT: providing individual prediction of risk of postpartum endometritis in females of different somatotypes.
