SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to obstetrics and gynecology, it can be used to predict the risk of preterm birth among women of different somatotypes. For this purpose, at the period of pregnancy up to 9-10 weeks of the examined woman, as anthropometric indicators, the following parameters are measured: the thickness of the skin-fat folds on the shoulder in front, on the shoulder behind, on the forearm, on the back, on the abdomen, on the hip, on the lower leg, the girth of the shoulder, forearm, hip and lower leg, with the help of which the body fat mass is calculated according to the formula J. Mateigka. The somatotype is determined by the method of R. N. Dorokhov. Then the level of prostaglandin E2 and prostaglandin F2-alpha in the blood serum is determined, the lymphocyte-monocyte coefficient, the uterine-cervical angle are determined, the data obtained are calculated according to the proposed calculation formula. According to the obtained result, from 60 to 100% a high risk of preterm birth is predicted.

EFFECT: method allows predicting with high accuracy the prognosis of the occurrence of preterm birth and forming high-risk groups among patients for the development of this complication long before the onset of birth, with the simplicity of its execution.
