FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. Method of manufacturing of cast-iron cooling plate for blast furnace with cooling channels filled into it includes loading of charge into melting unit to produce melt, preparation of molding components from sandy-clay mixture, molding of lower half-mold with gates and upper half-mold with slag-catcher. Working surface of upper half-mold in contact with melt is reinforced with asbestos sheets, at least one cooling channel is arranged in it, fixed in upper half-mold by means of chaplets, upper and lower mold halves are combined to produce casting mold and cooling channel is arranged in lower half-mold, cooling channel is blown with cooling medium at pressure of 1–10 atm through parts protruding from mold and cast iron melt is applied at temperature of 1,141–1,600 °C.
EFFECT: simplified technology of cooling plates production.
