FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to experimental medicine and dentistry, is intended for use in studying mechanisms of pathogenesis of acute periodontitis, as well as in searching for new therapeutic methods. On the first day, the rats are coated with a metal ligature, which is fixed to a crest of the alveolar process with a silk suture, and the ameloblastic epithelium is captured. From the second to seventh day, daily, rats are placed into cells with area of 0.008 m2 for six hours. From 1st to 7th day, the rats are on a high-carbohydrate diet according to Evdokimov without limiting the water regime.
EFFECT: method enables reducing duration of simulation and obtaining damage elements similar in terms of pathomorphological and clinical manifestations with periodontitis in humans.
