FIELD: experimental medicine; dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: metal wire ligature is applied in a figure-of-eight pattern to the cervical region of the rat's upper and lower incisors separately. Plaque from a patient with chronic periodontitis is then placed on the cervical region of each maxillary and mandibular incisor between the ligature and the gingival margin of the rat. Then, under the mucous membrane of the gums on the vestibular side, in the area of each incisor of the upper and lower jaw, an injection of a solution of nicotine 0.001 mg/l in physiological solution in a volume of 0.05 ml is injected, and after 10 minutes — a 50% solution of ethyl alcohol in a volume of 0.05 ml, and these injections are carried out daily for 7 days.
EFFECT: method provides the possibility of modeling within a short time (within 7 days), without the use of traumatic elements and obviously stressful conditions for keeping animals.
