FIELD: polymers.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a group of inventions: a polypropylene composition, an application of the polypropylene composition, a foamed product. The composition has a melt flow rate MFR2 from 15 to 40 g/10 minutes and comprises a first heterophase propylene copolymer, a second heterophase propylene copolymer, a high-density polyethylene, a plastomer, an inorganic filler, a foaming agent, and optionally a nucleating agent. The first heterophase propylene copolymer (HECO1) has a melt flow rate MFR2 from 60 to 200 g/10 minutes and comprises a first matrix and a first elastomeric propylene copolymer dispersed in the first matrix. The second heterophase propylene copolymer (HECO2) has a melt flow rate MFR2 from 3 to <50 g/10 minutes and comprises a second matrix and a second elastomeric propylene copolymer dispersed in the second matrix. The high-density polyethylene has a melt flow rate MFR2 from 2 to 15 g/10 minutes. The plastomer constitutes a copolymer of ethylene and C4 - C8 alpha-olefin with a melt flow rate MFR2 from 10 to 70 g/10 minutes. The foaming agent comprises citric acid in combination with a bicarbonate. The composition is used to produce a foam product.
EFFECT: development of a polypropylene composition applied to produce a foam product with a homogeneous/good appearance of the surface and balanced mechanical properties combined with an acceptable odour level and emission.
