SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling a heating or cooling system, wherein said system comprises a heat exchanger connected in series to the valve, and control means configured to control the degree of opening of the valve, wherein said method comprises steps of creating a difference between room temperature and set room temperature and controlling valve opening degree based on said difference. According to the proposed method, a stable operating point of the system stored in memory is used; calculating an increase value based on said stable operating point of the system; and valve opening degree is changed at set room temperature, wherein opening degree is limited by degree calculated based on increase value.
EFFECT: problem underlying the present invention lies in ensuring fast achievement of the required room temperature after changing the set room temperature.
