SUBSTANCE: device for reducing the number of external parasites on fish, comprising a hollow cylindrical filter element (3) having an inlet and an outlet, wherein nozzle (1a, 1b) is arranged along inlet and/or outlet perimeter and has, in fact, annular slot along inlet and/or outlet perimeter designed to eject fluid into said cylindrical filter (3) inner part.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device and method for reducing the number of external parasites on fish.
