FIELD: fishery.
SUBSTANCE: system includes: shooting device (52) for diving into marine farm (40) for keeping fish (72, 74). The shooting device is made with the possibility of capturing fish images. Electronic system (78) for image processing provides, by the analysis of captured images, identification on fish of such external fish parasites as sea lice. Range-determining detector (54) provides the detection of the fish presence and measurement of a distance from the mentioned detector to fish, and it is installed near shooting device (52). Electronic control system (12) is made with the possibility of control of focus of shooting device (52) based on the measured distance and with the possibility of start of shooting device (52), when fish is detected within some predetermined distance range.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides automated counting of sea lice, as well as the possibility of prediction and prevention of infestation of fish with parasites.
