FIELD: data processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of calculating a human flow. Method consists in that at the input-output point of the human flow at least one stereo camera is installed, which includes two cameras connected to the information processing means with software. Stereo camera is used to capture a moving object and transmit the image from the camera to the information processing means. Information processing means scans all points in a given height range and in a given sector of the corresponding image frame from each camera. By means of the software of the information processing means, the contours of each moving object are determined on the image from each chamber and the moving objects are separated from each other and from the background. Further, moving objects having a rounded shape located in said specified height range and in said given sector of corresponding frame are selected for counting. After that, by means of the information processing software, a decision on compliance or non-compliance of the flow selected for counting moving objects is made. If the moving object is matched and the counting line is crossed, a count is counted.

EFFECT: higher accuracy of counting human flow.
