FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the various materials crushing devices and may be used in production of construction materials and other industries. Grinder comprises cylindrical housing (1) with loading (2) and unloading (3) branch pipes, oppositely rotating upper (4) and lower (5) discs. In the center of lower disc (5) there is spreading cone (6) with an inclination angle of the generatrix to the horizon exceeding the angle of natural slope of the material. Four spiral segments (7) are rigidly fixed on working surface of lower disc (5) along circumference. Radius of curvature of spiral segments (7) along the rotation direction of lower disc (5) is uniformly increased in each segment (7) including two sectors in-series located along the rotation direction. First sector has annular grooves (9) of semicircular cross-section with diameter Dmax, where Dmax – maximum size of ground particles, and second sector, besides, has located in annular grooves (9) vertical conical holes (11) with diameter of smaller base dmax, where dmax is the maximum particle size of the finished product. Conical holes (11) are interconnected by larger base with lower disc (5) having along its perimeter side wall (12) with height equal to height of spiral segments (7). In side wall (12) there are rectangular cutouts made along the width of the second sector and height exceeding Dmax, which adjoin the vertical ledge of each spiral segment (7) and lower disc (5). Angular dimension of first sector is within 45…60°, and second sector – 30…45°. Lower working surface of upper disc (4) has circular ledges (15) of semicircular cross-section corresponding to annular grooves (9) of spiral segments (7). Minimum and maximum vertical clearance between annular projections (15) of lower surface of upper disc (4) and upper edges of spiral segments (7) is equal to (1…2)Dmax.

EFFECT: provides increased grinding process efficiency and productivity for the finished product.
