SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and systems for a fuel injector comprising air engaging means. Disclosed are methods and systems for fuel injector, connected to mixing channels for combustion gases in portion injected fuel to reduce formation of soot in entire range of engine operation parameters. In one example, the method involves reducing the temperature in the combustion chamber depending on the value of the measured light radiation.
EFFECT: reduced soot formation during fuel combustion.
