FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines with a branched exhaust system containing an exhaust gas recirculation system. Method for engine consists in the fact that if electric compressor (60) located upstream of compressor (162) of turbosupercharger in intake channel (28) is actuated by means of electric motor, then position of valve (54) in exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) main (50) is controlled depending on pressure in first exhaust header (80). Exhaust gas recirculation main (50) is installed between intake channel (28) and the first outlet manifold (80) of the first group of outlet valves (6). Version of the method for the engine and system for the engine are disclosed.

EFFECT: reduced backflow of sucked-in air along the EGR main into the outlet channel through the first group of exhaust valves of cylinders.
