FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed group of inventions relates to means of measuring different values, which also include indication of information associated with the reliability of the monitored parameter. Disclosed measurement system comprises one or more sensors outputting a signal as a function of a registered parameter; engine; measuring device having a scale and a movable indicator pointer driven by an engine and configured to display a calculated value reflecting the detected parameter, based on the pointer position relative to the scale; a position sensor which outputs a position feedback signal characterizing the detected arrow position; controller, based on the sensors signal and the position feedback signal outputting to the engine the actuation commands; and a status indicator, controlled by a controller, which indicates whether the position feedback signal and the calculated value are matched such that the calculated value displayed by the meter is within a predetermined accuracy tolerance, based on the position feedback signal with the sensors signal performed by the controller. Described measurement system also implements the corresponding method of displaying measurement results.

EFFECT: invention increases accuracy of displaying measured values with possibility of indicating errors and faults of components.
