FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: versions of a signal exchange system with a surgical instrument for displaying feedback information during an endoscopic operation comprise: a screen having a touch interface, wherein the sensor interface is configured to sense an input signal; first layer displayed on screen, wherein the first layer includes main feedback information from the surgical instrument; and second layer displayed on screen, wherein second layer includes additional feedback information from surgical instrument, wherein the second layer overlaps the first layer, and wherein the input signal to the touch interface is configured to change additional feedback information in the second layer relative to the main feedback information in the first layer. Signal exchange device with a surgical instrument comprises: underlying display of feedback video information from the surgical instrument; superimposed display of dynamic feedback information from the surgical instrument; and manipulation means for changing at least a portion of said superimposed display of feedback dynamic information relative to said underlying feedback video information display.

EFFECT: use of this group of inventions provides feedback during the operation.
