FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical processing of screws of various shapes. Device comprises front and rear supports with spherical centres installed through dielectric gaskets in front and rear supports of the machine, support, tool self-centring electric rest, pump for pumping of electrolyte and power supply connected by positive pole to screw, and negative pole to electrode-tool. Tool electrode is made in the form of three equal and replaceable sectors with helical grooves cut inwards with a profile equidistant to the thread profile of the processed screw with a gap, note here that two remote spherical thrusts are installed on outer side surfaces of electrode-tool on its two sides, height of which is equal to minimum electrode-to-electrode clearance on each side of working surface of electrode-tool. Tool electrode is equipped with a self-aligning mechanism of rotation relative to its longitudinal axis at the screw thread elevation angle equal to plus or minus twenty degrees.
EFFECT: invention increases accuracy and quality of processing screws.
