FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electromechanical working of axially symmetric shaft-type parts. This device comprises front and rear supports with spherical centres fitted via dielectric washers at the machine front and rear supports, extra bed with self-aligning stays with clamping drives, self-aligning stay clamping drive control unit and power source connected by its positive terminal to the shaft. Device incorporates locating self-aligning stays provided with dielectric thrust rollers as well as tool holding self-aligning stays fitted at the rest and equipped with electrode tools composed of metal tubes glued together. Working ends of electrode tools feature the shape of a sector of radius equal to mean magnitude between minimum and maximum radii of machined shat journals. Note here that electrode tools are connected to power supply negative terminal and provided with the drive to turn them through 180 degrees. Besides, they allow the feed of electrolyte from flush pump to working area closed by jacket of resilient material that makes an enclosed space around worked shaft and having passage for electrode tool.
EFFECT: higher accuracy and quality of working.
