FIELD: composite materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferromagnetic composite materials. Method of producing a ferromagnetic composite MnSb-GaMn-GaSb involves heating a mixture of powders of metals with particle size of not more than 10 mcm, consisting of 32–38 at % Mn, 32–42 at % Sb and 26–33 at % Ga, in an oxygen-free medium in a graphitized quartz ampoule or corundum crucible at a rate not higher than 100 °C/h to temperature of 660–720 °C, followed by holding at these temperatures for 3–6 hours and cooling at rate of 80–200 °C/h to temperature of 20–25 °C.

EFFECT: obtaining a ferromagnetic composite material consisting of two ferromagnets with Curie temperature Ts ~ 330° and wide-gap semiconductor.
