FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and is applicable for restoring reduced face height and occlusal plane in patients with such diseases as: increased dental erosibility of decompensated and subcompensated forms, partial loss of teeth, maxillofacial abnormalities and deformations. Lower jaw position is determined by percutaneous electroneurostimulation under the control of electromyography with the help of silicone registrate and stabilization of this position. Imprints and upper and lower jaw patterns are obtained. They are gypsum-plunged into an individually adjustable articulator, which is adjusted by mean anatomical parameters of the sagittal and transversal articular angles, wherein the angle of the sagittal articular path is adjusted by 40 degrees, and the angle of the transversal articular path from the right and left side is 15 degrees. Occlusal plane level is determined by orientation to profile teleradiography; method involves modeling a mouth trays on an upper and lower jaw of wax with creating an occlusal plane, which in the anterior segment is parallel to the pupillary line, and in the lateral sections on the right and left side – Camper's horizontal line, wherein anatomical modeling of absent teeth and teeth covered by a mouth tray is carried out taking into account both occlusion and articulation of the lower jaw. Conversion of mouth trays wax composition into plastic, their grinding and polishing, then prepared mouth tray covers are applied on upper and lower jaws of patient.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to eliminate etiologic factor of developing TMJD dysfunction and chewing muscle parafunction in patients with reduced face height and deformation of occlusal plane due to alignment of teeth closing plane of reducing reduced face height and normalizing position of lower jaw.
