SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry. Method for making the myorelaxation tray for dentition separation in the side portions involves preparing the upper and lower jaw models and fixing them into an articulator along a face bow and occlusal contacts followed by dentition separation by lowering an articulator pin. After the models are cast in the articulator, the dentitions are separated by 1.0 mm along the articulator pin, an impression of the front sections of the dentitions of the upper and lower jaws covering the incisors and canines is obtained from the silicone material on the models, and the dentitions are separated by a height determined by the Shimbashi index. Imprints of the lower incisors and canines in the imprint are filled with quick-hardening plastic or liquid composite material to a height defined by cutting edges of the lower incisors.

EFFECT: relaxation of masseter proper, temporal, sternocleidomastoid and digastric muscles, relieving pain symptoms in the patients with masseter parafunctions, and lower jaw position recording for further occlusal contacts of dentitions.
