SUBSTANCE: method for determining the central position of the lower jaw includes obtaining a profile teleoroentgenogram, diagnostic jaw models made of supergypsum of the fourth hardness category, plastering the models into the articulator in the position of habitual occlusion, determining the value of the sna-Xi-Pm angle from the profile teleoroentgenogram and selecting the height of the articulator pin to fix the position lower jaw vertically. Based on the obtained value of the height of the articulator pin, a mouth guard is made for the upper jaw with contacts in the area of the anterior teeth and separation in the area of the lateral teeth. Under the control of electromyography, electrical neurostimulation is carried out with a mouthguard applied to the upper jaw in the following mode: frequency - 20 Hz, impact energy - individual, corresponds to the subthreshold pain level, intensity - 5, exposure time - 20 minutes to determine the position of the lower jaw in the sagittal and transversal directions and recorded position of the lower jaw with silicone material.

EFFECT: ability to accurately determine the central position of the lower jaw in the sagittal, transversal and vertical directions is achieved.
