SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology, specifically to a method of producing L-methionine nanocapsules. Method is characterized by that L-methionine is added to a suspension of kappa-carrageenan in benzene in presence of 0.01 g of the preparation E472c as a surfactant while stirring at 800 rpm. Then 6 ml of chloroform is poured, obtained suspension of nanocapsules is filtered and dried at room temperature. Weight ratio of core:shell is 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3.
EFFECT: disclosed method enables to obtain L-methionine nanocapsules in a kappa-carrageenan shell.
