FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used to extinguish the water flow in the end devices of closed pipelines and tunnel culverts. The energy absorber contains a water conduit 1, a vertical well 2, which has an annular separating partition with a gap 6. In the lower part of the extinguishing chamber 4, a circular pipe 3 is installed, in which a turbine 11 is installed, made of screw-blade with possibility of free rotation about its axis 10 and attached to the end a drive shaft 8 with a spiral auger 7 installed in the lower quenching chamber 4. The lower quenching chamber 4 has a conical shape, and above the partition 6, the quenching chamber 5 is expanding in the form of a circular cylinder of the well 2, on the drive shaft 8 of which there are multi-tiered cascade dividing blades 9, lagging at some distance from the side walls of the chamber 5 of the well 2. Also the damper as a motor contains a worm gear motor 13 DC WG5946. The vertical well 2 in its upper part is equipped with an outlet 15 with a discharge tray 14, the bottom of which is connected to a discharge pipe 16 with a control valve 17.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing bottom velocities in the flow, increasing reliability of the device, and also reducing the cost.
