FIELD: bread baking.
SUBSTANCE: oven for making baked products includes baking chamber (1) having lower and upper baking zones (1a and 1b). Chain (2) of opening and closing waffle makers (3) is continuously moved through said zones. Each waffle maker (3) comprises upper and lower plate-type devices (4 and 5), between which mold (6) for baking is formed with a closed position of the waffle maker. Plate devices (4 and 5) have rear surfaces (7) on the side facing away from baking dish (6), which are connected to the baking dish via the heat-conducting and storage main part (8). In direction (27) of convective flow there is inlet (33) for supply of air or recirculating gas into baking chamber. Area of inlet (33) preferably occupies less than 10 % of the area limiting the baking chamber.
EFFECT: invention ensures increased efficiency of the oven.
