FIELD: water and air purification technology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions can be used in water treatment. Method of producing melt water with low content of salts includes external freezing of drinking water in vessel 1 with heat-conducting lid 2. Vessel 1 with drinking water, equipped with heat-conducting cover 2, which touches surface of water for the most part of its area, removable lower heat-insulating tray 4 and heat-insulating cover 5 is put on frost and frozen until complete freezing of water volume. At any convenient time, heat-insulating cover 5 and heat-insulating tray 4 are removed and ice is thawed in room temperature until heat-conducting cover 2 falls behind the ice. Ice is removed, transferred into shell 7 with flexible walls and frozen residual brine is mechanically removed, formed in the bottom area of vessel 1. Remained main part of ice is rinsed with drinking water at room temperature. Then, the remaining ice is thawed for further use. Set of melt water production with reduced content of salts includes vessel 1 widening upward to freeze drinking water with heat-conducting cover 2, heat-insulating tray 4, heat-insulating cover 5, smooth hydrophobic not-floating plate 3 with perforation, key 6 for separation of frozen residual brine along plane of plate 3 with perforation, shell 7 with flexible side surfaces for ice melting, cap 8 for barrel.

EFFECT: group of inventions allows to obtain melt water with low content of dissolved salts, eliminate the need to monitor the freezing process and simplify the process of separating ice from impurities.
