FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the food industry. Disclosed is a method for sterilization and preservation of non-carbonated beverages, involving introduction of dimethyl decarbonate into treated beverages, and additionally at least one cyclic dicarboxylic anhydride is added to beverages. Immediately before sealing the beverage it is treated with ultrasound at frequency of 1 to 1.5 MHz for 1–5 minutes.
EFFECT: method ensures protection of beverages against spoilage during a long period even after opening.
