SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology and biotechnology. Disclosed is a recombinant yeast strain Pichia pastoris VKPM Y-4394 producing xylanase. Said strain has an inactivated AOX1 gene and contains a xyl gene which codes endo-1,4-β-xylanase from Paenibacillus brasilensis.
EFFECT: strain produces xylanase in amount of 1728 units/ml of culture fluid.
